Citygo steps on the creative accelerator

Situation & challenge

A social feed to wake up

Citygo, the urban carpooling app, wants to make a splash on Instagram.

The problem: a feed that is too bland and not engaging enough. The client has challenged us to create high-value, viral, funny content that reinforces a cool and friendly brand image, particularly among young people in urban and suburban areas.

The objective: to boost awareness and attract new users by highlighting how easy it is to get around the suburbs.

Strategy

Embedded fiction, geolocated jokes

We start with Citygo’s strong point: journeys and colourful passengers, and we twist it with an original format designed entirely for social media.

Our response: blend fiction and reality with well-placed jokes, punctuated by Google Maps.

Content that speaks to the Citygo community, encourages identification and, above all, makes you want to tag a friend.

Creative idea

Caisse qu'il y a ?

A funny and quirky video series, designed as a Google Maps-style tourist guide.

The concept: we hop into an imaginary carpool, with a camera mounted on Google Street View, and comment on the city as we would among friends.

Each video is a trip to the suburbs, narrated by a passenger who is a little too comfortable with the microphone. A mix of real local information and well-timed jokes:
‘That’s the Basilica of Saint-Denis. But you can’t cook that with pasta.’

The result: absurd and endearing humour, 100% compatible with the suburbs, which fits the brand like a glove.

Our guidance

  • Format: mini video episodes (15 to 30 seconds) for Insta Reels and Stories
  • Location: a different city in each episode (Saint-Denis, Bondy, Sarcelles, etc.)
  • Tool: Google Street View navigation as the main backdrop
  • Voice-over: a driver (or passenger) commenting on the city with their local knowledge and personal jokes
  • Tone: absurd, spontaneous, conspiratorial
  • Objective: to create highly recognisable, shareable formats with immediate viral potential
