New visual identity for TAKOMA

Following a tender process conducted in the spring, TAKOMA, a specialist in knowledge gathering, transformation and transmission, chose Sweet Punk, the creative agency of Ekstend Group, to assist it in redesigning its visual identity.

“Sweet Punk immediately understood who TAKOMA is and what we do; our DNA, our raison d’être, our business lines and associated expertise. We quickly found common ground in terms of graphics, because you were able to demonstrate modernity and create an appealing look without turning everything upside down. From a change management perspective, which we absolutely needed, it was the most relevant approach and it brought greater internal buy-in and visually translated our desire to evolve and express our maturity.” Nicolas Bertocci, Methods & Communication Manager at TAKOMA.

A leading player in the fields of training, communication, documentation and support engineering for 25 years, TAKOMA wanted its brand to reflect its level of expertise, the richness of its offering, and embody its high-end ambition.

It was in the context of an already initiated brand platform and editorial strategy project that the redesign of the visual identity became necessary, accompanied by the redesign of the logo, the UX and UI of the TAKOMA website, as well as a presentation film announcing this new charter.

Sweet Punk’s response

Sweet Punk’s objective is clear: to change perceptions of TAKOMA and rebuild brand preference by further enhancing its value proposition.
The creative agency has therefore devised a new identity that illustrates TAKOMA’s newly asserted signature: ‘Knowledge engineers’.
The challenge: to convey the image of a visionary company, capable of seizing opportunities, whose most valuable asset remains its people.
“This new modern and premium visual identity was designed to appeal to clients from sectors as diverse as luxury goods and industry. We wanted to highlight what makes TAKOMA unique: a balance between rigour and creativity, between technical expertise and open-mindedness,” says Antoine Zedin, Lead Brand Design at Sweet Punk.
With this new identity, featured on its website, TAKOMA has adopted a strong and distinctive visual language that expresses its multiple areas of expertise while embodying a premium consulting approach.
